Qingdao Transformer Group Corp. Ltd is founded in 1969. It is located in Chengyang District of Qingdao City, covering a ground area of 475 thousand square meters. By the end of 2006 the corporation had reached a total asset of 3150 million CNY, a workforce of 7251, including 1722 technical personnel. Our group corporation specializes in the manufacturing and trade of transformer and is involved in electric appliance, machinery, electronics, light industry, rubber product, chemicals, aquatic product, real estate and foreign trade. It is composed of 38 enterprises, including Qingdao Qingbo Transformer Co. Ltd, Qingdao Longda Appliance Co. Ltd.，Qingdao Hengsheng Appliance Co. Ltd, Qingdao Hengxun Power Cable Co. Ltd and Qingdao Hengxun Electrical Wire Co. Ltd. All these companies form a tightly organized economic entity.
The products of our corporation include power transformer of up to 220 kV, package transformer sub-station, electrical wire, cable, capacitor and electrical reactor. Among them, “Qingbo” transformer has been rewarded with the title “Name brand product of China”, “Qingbo” power cable has been rewarded with the title “Name brand product of Shandong”, and “Qingbo” Trademark has been rewarded with the title “Famous trademark of Shandong”.
Our corporation has established a postdoctoral scientific working station and a province-level technical center. The corporation possesses advanced equipment, leading technology and perfect management. We have passed ISO 9001: 2000 quality control system certification and ISO 14001: 2004 environment control system certification. “Qingbo” oil-immersed power transformer was awarded with the title “National new product prize” and “Shandong product quality prize”. The corporation has passed the energy-saving product certification of the trade. Moreover, several of our other products were awarded with the title of scientific and technical progress prize of province-level or above, or passed the technical authentication of state level or province level.
Our corporation has ranked at the top 500 Chinese manufacturers, state-level “Observing contracts, keeping promises” enterprises, the top 100 Chinese machine manufacturers on sales income, the top 50 machine manufacturers of Shandong both on sales income and on pre-tax profit, the top 100 industrial enterprises of Shandong, AAA standardized perfect behavior enterprise of Shandong, the top 10 enterprises of Qingdao, the Hi-tech enterprises of Qingdao, the top 100 private enterprises of Qingdao, model of enterprise culture construction of Qingdao, the first group A standardized for tax-paying and promises-keeping rank enterprises of Qingdao.
In 2006 our corporation realized 3950 million CNY of gross industrial output value, 3460 million CNY of sales income, 290 million CNY of pre-tax profit, respectively increased by 14.85％, 19.44％ and 4.6％ on last year’s same period. According to the statistics of China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association, in 2005 the transformer output value of our corporation ranked at the third among over 1000 Chinese transformer manufacturers, and the composite index of economic benefits of our corporation ranked at the first among them.
During the period of 11th five-year plan our corporation will put an investment of 1000 million CNY in the construction of Qingdao Transformer & Electrics Industrial Park, which will cover a ground area of 720 mu, in Qingdao Liuting International Airport Industrial Park. This park will be a hi-tech industrial park specializing in the R & D and production of power transmission and transformation. Our corporation will carry out the policy of “new product, new mechanism and new image” and follow the idea of “planning from the high point and building in compliance with high standard” to build it as another highlight of Qingdao. |
